Discover the freedom of drawing with willow and compressed charcoal. Drawing in monochrome, without the distraction of colour can have a dramatic effect, bring the sense of the old Hitchcock & Film Noir movie scenes.
Embrace the emotive power of charcoal while learning different approaches and techniques for developing and controlling tonal values, expressive drawing and blending skills.
Projects are based in the style of L S Lowry. You are most welcome to bring your own local town townscapes or special abode A4 prints.
Suitable for: All, including absolute-beginners.
This is also a wonderful group workshop for those looking for something a little different.
