Artist Statement

I am an abstract artist & empath, this means I am highly sensitive to the
emotions and energies of others. This allows be to be insightful & emotionally
open when recording my feelings visually. I tell a story through my art by
depicting what I feel. A moment in time can be caught on canvas and last
hundreds of years, keeping special memories alive far beyond when the
memory has faded.

I bring my paintings alive through brilliant tones and touches of meaningful,
intuitive marks. The passages, layers and depth of colour form a landscape of
time, feelings and emotions are transcended onto the canvas.
I poetically try to reach and touch people and take them on a journey and a
destination which will inspire their soul. Lingering moments which capture
hearts are transported like magic.

My joy of nurturing emotion & my love of the outdoors and all those times that
nature took my breath away are my inspirations; this enables me to create a
universal presence of tranquillity and restoration within my art.
